The Suzuki Jimny is a tiny off-road machine that has captured the hearts of enthusiasts around the world. But what if you could take the Jimny's already impressive off-road capability and multiply it by six? That's the question that Russian artist A Kahn Design has answered with their rendering of a 6x6 Suzuki Jimny.
The inspiration for the design comes from the Mercedes-AMG G63 6x6, a behemoth of an off-road truck that's as capable as it is outrageous. But the 6x6 Jimny isn't just a copycat. A Kahn Design has given the Jimny a more aggressive look with a wider stance, larger wheels, and a beefed-up suspension.
Of course, this is just a rendering, and there's no word on whether A Kahn Design plans to build a real 6x6 Jimny. However, a group of Japanese students did build a real 6x6 Jimny out of a second-generation Jimny, so it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility.
Whether or not a 6x6 Jimny ever becomes a reality, it's a fun thought experiment. And who knows, maybe if there's enough interest, Suzuki will decide to build one themselves.
While the 6x6 Jimny isn't sold in the United States, the four-wheeled version starts at around $16,000 in the U.K. That's a relatively small price to pay for a car that's as capable and fun as the Jimny. And if you're looking for something even more unique, a 6x6 Jimny would be a steal at around $25,000.
